North Phoenix Area Guide
Anthem Arizona
Tucked between the mountains in the northern part of the Phoenix area off of I-17, Anthem provides a "small-town" atmosphere that is hard to find in many parts of the valley. Arrowhead Lakes
As you head west on 101 as you past I-17 you'll see a fairly new home development on your right with some great mountain views behind them. If you take the time to explore this neighborhood you'll notice that it is a lake community where most of the houses border a series of small, man-made lakes offering a unique atmosphere here in the Arizona desert. Black Canyon City
This is your last stop before heading into the Arizona high desert country on your way to Prescott, Sedona and Flagstaff. Black Canyon City gives some incredible views and a more rural atmosphere yet still only 45 minutes from downtown Phoenix. Black Canyon City
Carefree
Take Scottsdale Avenue as far north as you can. Once you hit the Boulders on the right, then the road becomes Tom Darlington Road and you've entered the gourgeous foothills of Carefree Arizona.
Cave Creek
A unique mix of golf course communities, horse properties, and foothills estates, Cave Creek offers a great selection of homes at reasonable prices.
Deer Valley Airport
This small aircraft airport provides a home for flying enthusasts. Phoenix and the surrounding countryside is famous for its flight schools. The airport also acts as the hub for a growing commerical and industrial park housing both small and large corporations. Deer Valley Airport
Desert Hills
As you head north on I-17 you'll see Anthem and the gorgeous mountains on the right hand side. What you won't see is the secluded community of Desert Hills on the other side.
